Forest Gardens
Martin Crawford has been establishing forest gardens in South West England since 1994 and is considered one of the movement's leading knowledge contributors, writing several great books.

He is director of The Agroforestry Research Trust, a non-profit charity in England, which researches and educates on agroforestry and perennial crops.

This project aims to make the food forest movement bigger and more organised. On their website you can create a free account, find food forests globally (currently mostly in Europe), join courses, access their knowledge-base or join the association.

They also offer design and implementation services. Their team works in Minnesota and Iowa and they also collaborate with designers in other parts of the USA.

Jim Gale's Food Forest Abundance project is catalyzing a movement to convert as many existing lawns & farmlands into diverse, plentiful, and easy to maintain food forests. As well as free resources to do it yourself, the project also offers design and implementation services. Focused in the USA but global projects are also implemented.
